Raindrops…

I recently purchased a new macro lens and have been playing around with it. Let me just say, I *love* it!

My new lens is a 180mm macro lens and it’s pretty darn cool! It is a bit heavier than my other lenses (it has a lens mount for the tripod), and it takes a little bit of time to get used to… but once you start to get the hang of it you get some outstanding close ups (which you will see over the next few days).

The following photos were taken on the second day I had the new lens. It had rained that morning, so I took Sweetie on a walk in search of interesting raindrops to photograph. The first photo is of raindrops on the leaves of a lily of the nile. The second and third photos are raindrops on these tiny little sprigs of (possibly) grass poking out of a shrub. Like I said… LOVE this lens. Enjoy!
