I loved how this fountain (in Caesar’s Palace) had these Pegasus and gods all around it. We discussed for some time who the gods being depicted could be…
It’s obvious that the god in the center would be Zeus (Jupiter), especially since he’s holding thunder bolts.
But we had a bit of trouble deciding who some of the others were. Not pictured (because I couldn’t get a good vantage point with all the people around), we saw Poseidon (Neptune) and Ares (Mars). But the ones that gave us pause were these two… rather than having, say Hera (Juno) or Aphrodite (Venus), they had Eris (Discordia), with the golden apple, and Artemis (Diana), with the bow and eagle (hawk, falcon?).

At least that’s who we think they might be, do you know?
Until next time…
